Stone Bridge Boys’ Locker Room Retaliation: Boys Suspended for Questioning Biological Female in Their Locker Room

Two Christian male students at Stone Bridge High School were suspended for 10 days each after questioning why a biological female student was in the boys’ locker room. LCPS investigated the boys for “sexual harassment” instead of addressing their concerns. The U.S. Department of Education found LCPS violated Title IX and retaliated against the male students. The DOJ warned the district risked $50+ million in federal funding. LCPS ultimately settled the lawsuit in March 2026.

Who Is Responsible

Context: Stone Bridge High School — Again

This is the second major scandal at Stone Bridge High School. In 2021, a male student sexually assaulted a female student in the girls’ bathroom. Then-Superintendent Scott Ziegler publicly denied knowledge of the assault, was fired, and was indicted on misdemeanor charges. He was convicted of one misdemeanor (retaliation), but the conviction was later set aside by a judge, and the remaining charges were dropped. That case became a national flashpoint.

Now, at the same school, boys who questioned a policy were punished while the district again prioritized institutional self-protection over student safety.
